Annie Sloan found the inspiration for the Paisley Floral Garland stencil template during her stay in Rajasthan. The paisley shape, synonymous with traditional Indian designs and the beautiful Kashmiri shawls, takes its name from the Scottish town of Paisley, where many shawls imitating Kashmiri fabrics were produced.
The Paisley Floral Garland stencil consists of two elements: one sheet with the main motif and another with a narrower design to personalise the garland. Painted in warm, spicy shades of Chalk Paint™, or in the indigo tone Oxford Navy to recreate the look of paisley floral garlands. And with imagination, the possibilities are endless.
